Title: engine rebuild??

Hello all, my cj7 4.2 I6 has given an excellent summer of service in the sun this year , but the ominous knock has only gotten worse. The engine other wise runs fine with no smoking or other issues.
I'm thinking to pull the engine in autumn and get refreshed over the winter.  Unless anyone has a known good engine they wish to sell... can anyone point me in the direction of a good trusted engine re builder here in the uk ? thanks

the engine is not that hard to work on if you have the space
