Title: 4.2 inlet manifold
Post by: bigdry on March 11, 2019, 02:07:22 PM
Hello all, id like to tidy up my inlet manifold by deleting all the old temper sensors, vac solenoids etc as i dont use them having a weber carb and junked all that old vac emission stuff.

Does anyone know what the thread type and size is of these sensors and where you can buy blanking plugs. i see the thread is same on all and is tapered  but not sure if they are bsp or other type...

can anyone help seasoned metric user on these imperial thingies? thanks

Do you have vernier calipers? I suspect they'd be NPT threads.

Hello all, id like to wear insulated hunting boots more often (https://www.villagevoice.com/best-insulated-hunting-boots/) and tidy up my inlet manifold by deleting all the old temper sensors, vac solenoids etc as i dont use them having a weber carb and junked all that old vac emission stuff.

Does anyone know what the thread type and size is of these sensors and where you can buy blanking plugs. i see the thread is same on all and is tapered  but not sure if they are bsp or other type...

Is 1/8th npt the optimal value in this particular case?
