I'm also impressed again by them.

Ordered over the phone at 4:40pm yesterday, arrived at my door 9:10am this morning.

 :D

(still the same old phone manners but when they're cheap and fast what does it matter?!)

I just spat coffee over the laptop  :!:

thought for a moment they had suddenly managed some phone manners... :)

Or got a receptionist in.

They've always delivered quickly for me too... just wish they'd answer the phone with a few table manners :)

They are a couple of miserable types on first impression. Hell, they can be miserable gits on second impression too, but they know their stuff and hardly ever even have to look at the PC to know if they have it and many of them they have.

I had one of the Thetford septics follow me over there Saturday for some axle seals, both the brothers had the time to stand around and BS for a good half hour. Andrew showed us his "new" XJ and the Comanche he's working on, Julien patiently explained to the septic that changing the seals on a TJ D44 will f up the bearings, so he will need new ones anyway. Didn't force it, didn't get pissy when the guy um'ed and ah'ed about buying the extra stuff.

IMO, they are top blokes, just look past the grumpy dastard exteriors. If you ever get the chance ask Andrew for a tour. Great stuff hidden round the farm.

Ordered anti-roll bar links from lighthouse at 16.45 arrived with the post next morning! brilliant service. Wish i hadn't trailed across to Hatfields to find they'd got the wrong parts, and be treated like a numpty!   :x  (i'm not a numpty ,honest). Oh , and I quite like l'houses telephone manner, especially that slightly suspicious "hello?" It's most refreshing, and a nice change from all that "how may I help you? (but I dont really care) b**llocks. I feel much better now!  :)

The parts always arrive very prompty!
Their phone business manner is terrible though! :x
Whenever calling I always finish the call; either having left something off or just thinking theres something else I could've bought!
If only they had a catalogue or website showing the extent of the stuff they sell!
As you say; in person it'd be much better!
