Having removed the girly side mouldings from Macs Mums 98 TJ, I have noticed 3 hexangonal holes about 6mm & one 1" + hole one the bottom panel of the TJ on both sides.
They are between the front wheel arch & the front edge of the door.
The larger 1" ish hole has a piece of clear plastic covering it.
Does anybody know what they are for & do they have rubber grommets / stoppers that should be placed over them now they are exposed ?
I guessing they are for some other Jeep type moulding but thats only a guess.

I think they'd be mounting holes for the little flare type extension pieces that run for about 6" back from the front flare that the non Sahara TJ's have. If you had the the full length 'girly' side mouldings fitted you probably haven't got these as well.
They quite often come up on ebay when people have fitted wider flares or rocker guards etc.!
