Thanks

You can probably pick up the compressor for about £2-300. The oiler, filter, regulator, and all the other OBA stuff will run about £100 or so.

And is it a big job to set up?? What about extra controls or is it just an on/off switch???

If you can find somewhere to do it aftermarket, I would estimate £1500-£2000.

You need compressor, condenser, evaporator, evaporator houising, pipework, reciever, control panel, wiring............. It's a big job.

Don't know how modified your rig is, but if it's pretty stock, then why not replace it with a Sahara, and transfer any bits over?

You'd then get aircon, cruise control, and some other nice touches too - and I wouldn't imagine that the difference in price would be any more than the figure that Mike has indicated.

Just make sure you choose a Sahara with those options!!!

Believe me Greggmo, my aircon's been worth it's weight in Super Unleaded during the recent hot spell. :D
