Re-charge the battery take the Jeep for a run, disconnect the battery and leave the Jeep for the same amount of time, reconnect battery and see if it starts. This will tell you if the jeep is the problem or if the battery is goosed. Simple!
I did the above and it was the battery that was at fault, and it was new.
Hope this helps

P.S, remember your stereo code if it has one

I kmow it may sound daft, but have you checked the interior light is off.

I had the same problem a couple of weeks ago and that was the cause. Problem was with this bright sunshine we're having, you couldn't see the interiror lights were on!

Doh!!

dont even waste time messin about. take it back to the seller and claim your new one on warranty. tell em it just keeps goin flat. most good ones come with three years. i used to take mine back every 2 and a half years and get a new one.

I would suggest that yes you do have a drain somewhere. Charge the battery and leave it disconnected, test it after a couple of days.

Had the same problem on my old 4.0 XJ. Used daily or even every few days, no probs. Leave if for 4-5 days and the battery was flat. Tried all of the above, even disconnected the Thatcham alarm system (it was playing up anyway), disconnected the interior bonnet light, checked the central locking servos weren't jamming and drawing current... no joy. Couldn't find the prob myself and neither could two garages including the local auto-electrical centre. Resorted to buying a port-a-pack battery in the end and just flashed it up on that if I left it lying. Still had the problem when I sold the car - made sure the guy understood this when he bought it. Over a year later - he still hasn't found the problem either and just disconnects the battery at night.

Hope you have better luck!  [-o<
