Title: Dealer...ordering parts
Post by: Rikk on August 04, 2006, 11:40:46 AM
Will UK dealerships order none UK parts?

Just wondering as there's a little bit I need that wasn't sold in this country and wondering if it would be easier to order it here and let them do the hard work :)

Yes, but they might ask for you to pay for it up front as it isn't a stock item. Lighthouse can also get most Mopar parts.

Cheers.

Just need to get the part numbers for the tc and petrol tank guards as well see if they can get those at the same time.

Phoning lighthouse makes nervous as I'm a mechanical noob and from reading around they don't seem to suffer fools gladly or even people who know what there doing :)

Don't worry Rikk...If I can deal with them without problems you'll be OK :D

Quite the opposite, Lighthouse are very tolerant of noobs, and will spend time finding the part numbers for you. Their phone manner has improved also, last couple of times I rang they answered "Hello, can I help." Yes, I was a bit stunned!
