Looking at something like this to cover the holes and I can get rid of the horrible side bars as well:

don't try drilling the rivets out, they are hard steel and eat drill bits :(  Use a dremmel and the heavy duty cut off discs to grind the heads through, the rivets can then just be knocked through with a punch.

Now just got to figure out where to steal some money to pay for more jeep parts :shock:

Be aware that those sliders come up higher than the bottom of snorkels.  :wink:

from memory you have the inch needed under the snokel mount.

both are mine........the silver is a project still on going and the green is old faithful that is to be a tube buggy when i find the time.

I really fancy the sliders by Poison Spyder. 4WD sell them in unpainted only even though you can get them direct with powder coat. Most don't ship or are really expensive to ship, The one UK price I've had was expensive.

I could take some measurements and get some plates cut and folded but I don't think they will look anything like as good.

yes i got mine unpainted as i needed to weld a extra plate so as to attach the front roll cage to them truly hardcore sliders.............
