Title: xj headlights/diff rebuild

Ok any one purchased any of the headlights off ebay there two lots both imports they say they are ok in UK so info plse. Also how much to rebuild my 2.5 td (dana35) rear diff its done 95,000 lsd shot just done pinion and drive shaft seals there was some glitter in the oil so bearings on the way out plus it clunks on off power  (prop ok)
So dose anyone here rebuild them or am I off to my local transmission man

Not sure on the lights, If you have tires of the 31" variety or larger don't waste the money on the 35, upgrade with a ford 8.8, I LOVE mine and it's WAY beefier. For 200 quid you can't beat it!!!

not up on jeeps mine is just std dont off road much just farm track stuff

if you speak to mik at rednex he will sort ya diff for ya. top man. the only trouble i see with imported head lights is that they might have a left hand drive pattern so you might have to get some of those little sticker things to convert them to uk spec. but dont quote me on that last bit. maybe one for dr mike.

If they're from the US they probably won't have sidelights in them, the dip pattern won't be as good as ours and if they're plastic, watch out if you use high wattage bulbs.

I'm having such an awful time out here on the Algarve 8)  8) , riding my XR400 in these hills and having to drink lots of beer you can be sure I'll be back just as soon as I can. (OK, Friday)

so has anyone seen kd. also anyone tryed these Jeep Cherokee & Wrangler Crystal Clear Halo Headlights as sold on ebay.ok the bloke said they or not lhd/rhd you just point the light left or right.looks like keeping my old lights for mot. :D

Seen KD last night at the gettogether at the Old House at Home.I bought those diamond lights for my XJ,aid about £60 from the states,with shipping,and they were never fitted,still hidden away in my spare bedroom but they look alright.Cant say about the direction though........ :shock:  :shock:

yes mine got the dreded rust passed mot this time, the ones on ebay are £48 inc p&p
uk ones are £70.00 each.might try yank ones
