Title: Not Jeep but help desperately needed on Vauxhall EPS

Does anyone know anything about the electronic power steering found on the Vauxhall Combo vans?For example where is it?How would i remove it?Can it be serviced in any way?All and any info desperately needed.Think mines fubarred and its my transport for work.Not a company van but my own and i cant afford the several hundreds of pounds to get it sorted at a dealers and need to get it sorted as cheap as poss so want to see where it is,remove it and see if anything can be fixed..Help Help Help!!!!!!! Cant afford any time off

just made a phone call for you apparently the pump and steering rack are as one unit......was told to check the live at the pump it's fed by a fuse under the bonnet could be orange or pink this could be your first point to check......after that it's the whole unit.

Thanks Pete,will give them a call.

Peter,i tried the fuse,its a 50 amp one in ther fuse box.Looks okay unfortunately.Im a little confused though(not hard i know)as i have found a couple of units on a couple of sites showing the EPS for a Vauxhall Corsa/Combo.A strange looking thing and hard to describe.Guess i will have to look into it in more detail.
