Title: KJ tyres
Post by: Mike Pavelin on September 30, 2006, 10:11:57 AM
It's nearly time to replace the tyres on my KJ Pioneer   (2.5CRD manual) Current size is 235 70R16.
Has anyone gone up to 245 70R16?
If so, I was wondering what the slightly taller gearing did for the already questionable performance and fuel consumption as it currently revs it's nuts off at motorway speeds.

Ta.

we run Grabber AT2 245/70/16's on our 2002 2.5 CRD and do not have problems with rubbing. 8)

Haven't bought yet, but I'll think I'll leave it stock this time.
