Title: AMC-Jeep AM/FM CB Radio

I've just aquired one of these from the states.
If you've never seen one before AMC offered it as an optional extra on it's vehicles sold in the US in the '70's and early '80's.
It's basically a 1970's style AM/FM audio radio with a 40 channel AM CB radio built in.
The trouble is I can't find any technical data or wiring diagrams for it all all
The only information I have is from the US/Canadian cb certification plates on it:- "made in Japan by Mitsubishi electric corp for AMC"
Any technical info or directions to finding info would be much appreciated.

Can't help you on the wiring, but I think you are not allowed to use AM Freq cb's in the uk.

I only wanted it because it's an original AMC optional extra.
AMC/Jeep listed it as an Am/Fm/Cb radio so I didn't know what the Cb part did until I got it and found it was Am only.
Illegal or not, I'm still gonna get it working, I'm not breaking the law until I transmit with it.
