Title: Brake caliper bush/slider grease?
Post by: 555 on October 21, 2006, 10:30:00 AM
Hi,
I was trying to find some silicone grease as mentioned in the  manual to lubricate the bushes/rubber boots that the brake calipers slide on, without much success at the local motor factors. What do you recommend?
There was the aerosol type from other places, but seemed to be for electrical contacts.

Thanks.

I looked for some in Halfrauds the other day and they were unable to help (as usual). Try here. http://http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Servisol-Silicone-Grease-50g-Tube_W0QQitemZ280039461711QQihZ018QQcategoryZ63900QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

emember not to use copper slip the lubricate bearings as it has been known to wear them
