Post by: Asylum on December 10, 2006, 10:34:56 PM
Hey all.

I am going to try running some super wide wheels I aquired from Ponyracer to see how I get on with them.   :)  8)

Just stick on some wide flat rubber to existing flares, that should stop plod having issues as it will prevent mud/stones being thrown up whilst on road(theoretically of course  )

Yeah, maybe try and get some YJ/XJ/TJ pattern whels and remove the spacers??

Then maybe some Sahara flares for the extra 1" or so they stick out.

Really I'm with Bubba though, they look cool - put some little road tyres back on for MOT etc. (Although I don't want to be cited on that!!!)

you could always try conveyer belting for the mad max look. your jeep looks good on them but any jeep on boggers looks cool 8)

Unless of course I bought some more rims, but am trying to keep cost down until I have tested them and see if I get on with them.

From a discussion on J££P I found these guys and these universal extensions - worth a look?
