Has anyone got, or does anyone know to a source of technical info on the 1980's CJ7 diesel I'm driving about in.
All I've been able to discover is that its Isuzu C240 2.4L power plant was actually an indusrial engine usually more at home in fork lift trucks, and ISN'T common to Isuzu light trucks and 4x4's.
Powertrain is Jeep with what (externally) looks to be a std T176/Dana 300 and narrow track 3.73 axles.
I've got an idea these were still being made in South America (possibly Argentina) long after the CJ's were killed off in the US.

will score you the '81 to '86 factory parts manual on CD delivered to your door which includes both the Isuzu and Renault diesels fitted to Jeeps of that vintage. It includes nice exploded drawings of the assemblies and Jeep part numbers.
PM me if you want.
