Dear All
I am looking for some advice regarding a towbar for a Jeep Cherokee 05 and 06 model.
I would like a towbar that has an extention bar leading to the 50mm ball flange plate that brings this plate out to the same distance as the rear door mounted spare wheel. I am not looking to use the towbar for towing instead I want to mount an accessory bracket to it.
Any suggestions on what would do the job please??
Thanks
Dave

My old man fitted one to his that hung out the back a long way. It came from the http://www.towequipe.co.uk/ (http://www.towequipe.co.uk/) website

Remember the further out you push your extension the more you'll compromise your departure angle, not to say that ever really bothered my CJ7 but when you are trying to reverse out of a tight spot the thing does always dig in!
That said, I did enjoy the look on a spotty youth's face when he ran in to the back of me and buried my tow ball in his Corsa's radiator! (pretty sure my disks were bigger than his wheels, 'course I'll stop quicker 'n 'im).
