Title: Fitting a towbar....
Post by: scarlett on March 23, 2007, 03:56:10 PM
a DIY job for competant home mechanic or best left to the pros...?

Need to get a towbar onto my 96 Cherokee, never had one fitted, been offered full DIY kit... is it worth it or should I just pay someone and save the grief?

Cheers....

Just big spanners/sockets! Think I had to use the torque wrench to undo  the towing eye but that was just for the extra leverage ,cos its longer than me ratchet :D
