when fitting a SLE to a mk1 XJ what rear propshaft can be used as a replacement ?.

if you do mean a SYE then you will need a prop made up to fit. it will need a double cardan joint and you will need to measure the running length you require. i think. 8)

yep you got me a, SYE my mistake

just wondered if there was one on the market that just "slotted into place" rather than a made to order

Rubicon Express and Tom Woods are the 'off-the-shelf' suppliers in the U.S. Probably still best to get all your measurements to hand when ringing them.
