I'm  thinking about fabbing up a pre runner bullbar, have the use of a pipe/tube bender  welder etc, you dont see them over here, wonder if they are not road legal in uk?   maybe i could make a short version  :P     found one i think i'll have a go at,        (http://http://birtydastardsjeepclub.com/forum/userpix/627_ProtoBump_0006_1.jpg)

Jalopy 6 -- Rusty's  4.5 lift , snorkel, trans skid, move winch mount and winch from Jalopy 4, rack in back for spare to go on. Fueltank guard now fitted just need toalter tow bar.

Jalopy 4 -- remove winch and mount, a few other bits then let Gregmo have a minor play with some mods  :?:

1st and foremost is search  and destroy  the annoying squeek  that I cant locate .

Then  Alumi-flex tie-rod and   Beefy drag link are right around the corner. and a rear bumper/tire carrier combo.

Well in the pipeline is:

Johnny joint suspension arm mounts. Should have done this a while ago but not got to it due to general maintenance But is in progress thanks to Warthog. (Front Lower arms done)
Fix alternator squeak
Fix noise from clutch (think thats what it is anyway)
replace stater as its become tempramental.
Rear winch bumper, with winch.
Full external rollcage (Christmas Project)
Top mounts on roll cage for waffles.
Cut out rear cargo area floor pan and raise full tank into it by 10 inches.
Custom internal roll bar brace behind front seats also functioning as harness mounts.
Custom rear swing away so tyre can be outside vehicle to give extra space inside for stuff when traveling, and inside rear for better balance while offroading. Also on the swing away will be mounts for high lift, jerry cans and shovel etc.
change rear drum brake to discs with callipers with built in handbrake. If keeping with D44 and D30, read further down.
Modded removable nato hitch so can pull sanky trailer.

Then am going to look at going long arm stretch suspension. Completely custom. Lengthen wheelbase.
With either replace both axles for Mog axles and 38.5 boggers or upgrade present axles with ox lockers front and rear plus a 5.25 regear and 37 boggers.

Then more custom fabbing everywhere!!!

So lots to do!!
