Title: 2.5 TD Cherokee ltd
Post by: demonicwillow on November 14, 2007, 12:19:44 AM
Hi, my first post, I am having grief with my jeep, there is alot of whining from the rear axle when going slow around bends and when i pull off it sounds terrible, but when its at speed its ok also the rear axle feels like its shuddering alot  at pull off. And is it possible to swap the transfer case out for one with full time 4wd as i need full time for towing sometimes.

Thanks  :D

you need to change the oil in your rear axle...........don't forget to include the friction modifier, you can buy oil with it included or a small additive bottle can be purchased from the main dealer for less than £5.00gbp

I done that, hasnt made no difference, used really expensive oil too! which is used in some stern drive applications.
