Can anyone tell me,if 33x12.5x15 tyre  can be fitted to a standard wrangler jeep.
Asking as I have just brought a vvvvvvv low mileage one from ebay and want to throw some of my rebuild parts on as a temp play thing

The answer is no.

31" is the maximum for an unlifted TJ, and even then you may get rubbing if you disconnect.

is it a tj or a yj? 31s will fit a tj but limmit the flex. 31s wont sit well on a stock yj without longer shackles at the least. yj will need at least 3.5-4inch of lift to clear 33s tj will need at least 3.5-4inch to clear 33s.

My friend Gerb runs 33" SSRs with a 2" spacer lift.  Works good for him no rubbing and he wheels his TJ hard just about every weekend.  Spacer lifts are cheep, easy to install, and can come in handy later when used for leveling a different lift.
Gerbs is the Green one in back.
