Title: tranny case chain

hi
anyone out there know the width of the chain in a np231 t/c on a 1997 cherokee 2.5td.
there is two widths 1.125" and 1.375". am i going to strip it apart just to mesure it or can anyone help please.

There is only one chain listed for all 231 cases from 87/02. The part no. is 4338935

If you really need to know you could measure it through the drain plug hole the chain run across it. But you would have to drop the oil first!!!!
