Title: Gear search ??

After a little play around at the weekend , the old XJ seems to have developed a little hicup.  :x  :x Feel like miss fire but then clears. Driving along the revs drop then feels like limp home mode and not changing up gears, and not faster then 20 and struggles,  clears again.  Thought of bad fuel but filled up the other car at same garage later.    Any ideas and hope not expensive............

Oxygen sensor.
