better find out now rather than when you really need them. especially brakes. I have tried to skim jeep disks in the past to save a few notes and TBH it's a nightmare, so it's just easier to replace from lighthouse

i can get discs with pads for about £78 from partco so if you have a local place try them before you go to the stealership. easy job to do mate. 8-)

All done now......£450 lighter of pocket. New pads, new discs, new rear bushes etc etc. Ho hum.....But got my Jeep back  :-D  :-D

Gonna plan in doing my service soon..........when i've got some sheckles together that is!

Going to do oil and filter, transmission fluid, diff fluids, transfer box fluid, plugs, air / fuel filter, plus all other checks and lubrications.

Whats the best fluids to use for the diffs, transmission and transfer box?

Cheers

Diffs 75W90 GL5 gear oil
Add Mopar friction modifier to rear diff to keep LSD in check
Transfer case Dexron 2/3 ATF
Transmission Mopar ATF+4

The gear oil is about £15 a gallon from any motor factor.
The dexron is about the same.
The ATF+4 is dealer and a bit pricey, It's a special synthetic ATF, You'll need 4 bottles.
The friction modifier is about a fuver from the dealer.
