On a 1994 4.0L XJ with a 4" suspension lift does it affect the prop shafts etc ??
my mates all have rangies and lardies and any suspension lift requires prop shaft mods, changed radius arms and all sorts of other stuff, is there anything I should check to see if it has been done before I buy it??
Cheers guys

Think it will.....others who know more will be along soon...
-
no fitted a few lifts no prop mods to date
-
Drive it and if there's a load of vibration from the driveline the rear prop isn't aligned properly.
-
as mike said. best thing to do is drive it and see. would be cool to have ya with jeep again mate.
-
at 4 inchs it will vibe quite a bit!! but you won't need to change it!
when i had a 4.5inch re lift they supplied a set of 3/4 spacers to drop the cross member down and a set of 1.5inch longer shackles to point diff up over. it worked great without a single vibe!!!

Its got a 4" pro comp lift, with extended chrome molly A arms??? what ever they are.
I would really like to make it down to ribbo farm for the end of march, :D
-
cool. it would be good o see ya mate.
-
The consensus on Pro Comp lifts is that the springs are bastard hard and the leaves are prone to rotating about the centre pin.
-
-
its an easy fix though.
-
It's fixed now - but why don't they just make them right in the first place
-
what do you have to do to fix it??
-
get some spring straps or a tiny splat of weld right by the u bolts does the trick.
-
Or shim (posh term for steel strip) between the side of the springs and the ubolts
-
I had exactly the same problem with Skyslacker springs, it's not just Procomp that suffer.
I'd love to know where you fit chrome A arms on an XJ though.
