If the wiring is the same for a Grand Cherokee I can help you out there, which circuit do you need?

Wow - superfast RockingDad.

I don't know if the wiring diagrams are the same for the Grand/non-Grand Cherokee - perhaps a third party could advise on that one?

We have had problems with the heater and aircon and last night a piece of wire was flapping about and making a horrible noise.  We have since moved the end and stabilised it but don't know where it belongs.

Glad Birty's can be of help to you, but please remember that we the members devote much of our time time to the forum, andswering questions and would rather new members introduced themselves before asking a question.
It only takes 2 mins and in return you could get info to save hundreds or even thousands!

A Grand is nothing like a regular Cherokee in the electrical department.

As not everyone reads the introductions forum, and there was pertinent info there, I've copied more about the problem to this thread....

Quote from: "Star, in the intros forum"
I have asked my question about Cherokee wiring on behalf of my neighbour who, at 82 years of age, is not computer literate but is a retired engineer.

Bob came home from Asda last evening with the vehicle making a terrible racket and much after much poking about in the dark with a torch gave up for the night. Today I asked him what the problem was and he said a piece of wiring had been catching on the clutch and had been making this awful noise. He has since moved the wiring away from the clutch housing where it will be safe for now - however there is some mystery as to where the wiring should be attached.

In the recent past there has been a problem with the heating and aircon and we wondered if the wire could have been attached to those items.

Star, searched high and low for this one, found an XJ VM diesel workshop manual on the bay - which specifically said it didn't have wiring diagrams.

There is this (http://http://rapidshare.com/files/47315826/2000-Jeep-Cherokee-Service-Manual.zip)but its for a 2000 XJ. It's a big download too.
Might be of some use though.
