Hi guys, im mark, got a w reg 3.1td that takes ages to start when cold, got some new glow plugs today, but how easy to change myself.
-
have a look and see how they are to get at. all ya gotta do is swap new for old. should be an easy job.
-
The front four are easy enough, but the rearmost one is a bit of a pig - a bit cramped to get to, so watch your fingers. Stick with it, it's not that difficult and there are no special instructions, just pull off the rubber plug (pull hard), unscrew the old one with a sparkplug socket, then screw the new one in and replace rubber plug.
