Hi i have a Warn TI !!!The problem is it will let the rope out but when i try try to retact it i get nothing!!!Ive had it in pieces and cleaned it all and still nothin is happening!!! Any ideas would be welcome!!! cheers

no leccy to the contact by the sound of things. have you used a multimeter to measure the electrical contacts and their voltage when off and when in use trying to retract.
have you check the power switching relay or is the winch wired direct to the battery ?
-
you probly need a new solenoid kit
-
check the remote. the switch might be fooked. otherwise i recon you are lookin at new solenoid set. try pg winches if you find you need parts.
-
Cleggy we should have tried andys remote when it happened that would at least eliminated or confirmed the remote.

Hi Cleggy , had the same problem with mine about 6mts ago , and yep it was the solenoid pack
-
you can buy the solenoids seperatly, they came to about £70 from abril on the ti, but i bet they are cheaper from PG winches
check your motor works properly in both directions 1st, you can bypass the solenoids by doing this process

I HAVE CHECKED THE MOTOR AND ALL IS FINE!!!!!!!!!!!!
BECAUSE ITS NOT WORKING IN REVERSE DOES THAT MEAN I WOULD NEED TWO SOLENOIDS OR ALL FOUR???ANY IDEAS WOULD BE WOULD BE WELCOME!!!

Maybe an idea to replace it with an allbright type solenoid pack (£40) One unit controls forward and reverse, plus its small in comparison. Cheaper than the Warn packs and very popular as a replacement?

Devon4x4 have the wiring diagram for these type of packs in their tech section.
