Title: Heater dont work! help!

hello I new to this forum.

Just bought a grand cherokee - (2001)

Got a couple of problems with it

The heater dosnt work, Air con ice cold and blowing out everywhere - but when I alter the two temperature dials to hot, - It just stays cold.

Any idea's guys?

oh, the other problem is the cd player, radio works fine, tape fine but the Cd when pressed just reads Error - nothing happens when you press eject - I assume its nackered!

A part from that the car is a cracker - Never driven anything so posh!

Unfortunately it's probably the blend air door failed inside the Hevac unit. This is a well documented problem involving removing the entire dash assembly and heater assembly to replace the failed part. Bits cost about £150, you should change the recirc door at the same time, but it is a HUGE job, well over a grand at a dealership.
