hi all my qus is does anyone know of the existence of a body lift kit for my 95 xj 4l cos i cant find one anywhere  any pionters in the right direction would be great as ive spent the whole day scouring the us market for them
-
get a 5 inch spension lift.
xj's are a unibody so there's isn't a seperate body to lift away from the chassis.

Next few days on account of the bank holiday.

If it's just for show, you can fit some 2" lift blocks/2" shackles on the rear and 2" spacers on the front. Problem is that it will screw up your prop angles and you'll need either an SYE (lots of money) or a T/C drop kit.
Not worth doing for proper off-roading. Blocks and spacers just don't flex very well compared to doing it properly with springs.

thanx for the info but its for offroading thats why i need proper gear  but each to there own
-
There's a place for replacement/lift shackles and SMALL blocks but not to gain a large part of the lift. Suspension is so important for offroading it's worth spending a bit of cash on.
P.S. Tim - I like to sig, JF makes me laugh so much I hurt!

i just want to do a proper job cos i know if i cut corners on the lift i,ll regret it next time i hit the course! and i dont want to end up in a situation where taking the easy route is gonna cost me my fun in the dirt :-D
