Just plugged in a PCM (or ECU as we no them) from America and fitted a new starter motor from Light House and my Tj started first turn of the key, without that little annoying key fob thing.

-
it's easy.......one must invest in a PCM from america and get your pal to sort it all out for you.
oh - and pay him in sterling.
-
It’s not a problem; I now have a 4 liter Tj 1997 with absolutely no immobilize at all, no horrible beeping sound and no key fob with batteries in it. You need to find a PCM (ecu as we Britt’s know them) from the usa, it needs to be a second hand unit, as it will have to be programmed for a jeep the same cc and year as yours, then just plug it in and though your key fob thing away.
