Post by: mean dog on July 13, 2008, 07:55:12 PM
Hi folk's,
soggy footwell carpet rear off side, water comming out of rear floor heating duct  Ah ah, I thought, blocked drain tube.  Where  the hell is it? Ihave looked every where for the bloody thing, but no luck. My jeep is a  98 4 litre grand zj, It's got to be there somewhere, it's easy enough to find on my xj.
Cheers

It drains inside the front passanger side chassis. Get in the passanger footwell and you'll see the bottom of the HEVAC unit. At the lowest point is a rounded bit that is the back of the drain. Drill a hole in it and poke stiff wire through to clear the blockage, then seal the hole with RTV.
