Title: Tyres sizes....on a stock 1998 Grand Cherokee

I've used the search but couldn't find it.

What's the biggest tyre I can use on my 16 inch wheels that won't cause me any problems whatsoever?

They currently have 225/70/16 which look pants. I want some nice chunky looking tyres.

Is the vehicle going to be used off-road?

If not you could fit a 30" tyre without clearance issues. You may have to adjust the steering stops slightly depending on the width of tyre you choose.

If it will be off-road then I reckon your better putting on a 2" budget lift and fitting 31"
