Hi
Fitted an sye and shaft, how difficult is a diff ratio change (ring and pinion)?
Should I send the axles to an expert?
Does anyone know of a write up on this subject on other forums? Keen to do it myself.
Cheers

dont do it yourself mate. get it done by someone who does this sort of thing for a living. at least if they f##k up you can go back to em.

Here (http://http://www.ring-pinion.com/downloads/yukoninstman.pdf) ya go.
With hundreds of pounds worth of specialist tools and several years of experience it still takes at least 6 hours per axle. Not a job for the faint hearted but perfectly do-able for the home mechanic with talent and patience.

dont rush for sure but you dont have to take it up the ass by some expert its dooable and if you dont want to do it just take it to a local axel gearbox guy and he will cost less than moost so called jeepsperts
