Title: 2001 3.1 td gc overhead console missing option

Hi
I am missing the option to sound horn on lock on the overhead console, all other options are there and work fine. Anyone got any ideas why this option isnt there. I have to watch the indicators to make sure it has locked.
I have tried the method mentioned in another post where you unlock and then unlock it a further 3 times to turn the chirp on but this dosnt work either.
Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

The horn chirp function does not meet EU type approal on noise and is therefore deleted on European models.

Indeed.  The option is not there on mine either.  I also watch the indicators. My Mustang used to have the option, and it was great!
