Title: Rear swing away wheel carrier.........

would a one off of an early xj fit a 98 facelift without modification??????
Just there's one in a local yard to me so may be had at sensible money.

Probably not so much mounting the carrier to the bumper but where the locking/release mechanism is on the tail gate, it would definately have to be modified as the post '97 cherrys are a lot different to early ones. Anythings possible, just time and effort  8-)
