is there an actual difference between the 4ltr and 2.5 ltr front axle in regards to the uj size ?

the axle i intend to fit doesn't have ABS yet when loking for replacement UJ's there are ones for axles with ABS and ones for axles without. I have already two for the 4 ltrs' std front axle and was wondering whether i could try and fit them instead of buying another set for non abs 2.5 petrol version

Up to '96 non ABS versions used a smaller UJ to the ABS version. During '96 they all went to the larger ones.

my 1995 2.TD has abs axles, though no abs fitted :-)
