just bought this car runs fine on lpg sweet
but now the bad bit starts on petrol runns very badley and struggles to rev up and tries to stall if you dump your foot on the gas peadel please help

It's fuel related. If it was anything else it wouldn't run on lpg.
Try putting a new fuel filter on for starters, and also try putting injector cleaner through. If it's always run on lpg then the injectors might have clogged up.

Fuel pump?

might be down to the gas mixer, if its mounted on the throttlebody and it has single point gas mixer, the engine can struggle to breathe, due to the opening of the mixer restricting the air/fuel ratio, it will run rich and have a lousy idle and run lumpily,

tps....
That would effect lpg running then wouldn't it?

no as the the fuel is already a gas as it enters the manifold it mixes easier with the air where as petrol is injected it is heavier and denser and thus needs more air to help it vapourise to 14:1,to become combustible. Thats why later lpg systems got direct port injection via multi-point in jection systems.
