I have a 2007 Grand Cherokee CRD Limited, if I export it to France would I have to change the headlights or are they adjustable? Many thanks.

You would need new headlights. Bummer.
Also, I know that many people on here do it, but having the steering rod on the wrong side of the car is a pain sometimes. When I took my RHD car to France, toll booths were a pain, and so was seeing round tight corners.

Thanks for that. Anyone know where I can buy cheap headlights?

You'll need to either get them from Europe or the US. Many US companies won't ship internationally though and you just can't read European websites.
You could get by with putting stickers on the headlights until you get it to France, then get the headlamps here. You'll need proper headlamps to register it there.

You can order them through any dealer, not the cheapest option but beware of non E marked american units if you want a french registration.

Isn't there a German based Jeep parts supplier Eberle or something like that????
-
You'll only need to change the h'lights if you permanently export to France (provided you don't mid dazzling a few french folk!), even then I'm not sure as the French MOT isn't the best.
The paperwork associated with reregistering is a pain as well.
If you do change them; keep hold of the originals as you'll no doubt want to bring it back to the UK to sell it on at some point.
Its easy to bring the car back to the UK & re register it for free.
If you need an insurance company that deals with expat situations try italsure.
