I'm needing to change the radiator on my Cherokee, '98, 4 ltr. and having checked old threads on here I looked at the aaron radiators web-site. /but the OEM part number they have listed is different to the part number on my rad, and the part number on my rad is different to ones referred to in other threads on this subject.
My part number is 5202 8357, but any web references I've found are for part 5202 8537. Is this a typo on my rad, or is there two rads for 91-99 cherokee's?
I phoned aaron rads and the guy said there is only one rad they do for Cherokee's (as long as its not a grand)
I was thinking of a recore/exchange, but I've been quoted £180 for that, but a brand new rad is £107 + vat.

Make sure the rad is for RHD

The part number is 5202 8537, so you probably have a typo.
Over the years, there have been several part numbers for a 4.0 auto rad, but they're probably just cosmetic changes. Aaron rads probably only do one rad cus it fits 'em all.

Not according to this thread-> http://http://birtydastardsjeepclub.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7275
Which is partly where my confusion comes from......

So you rang Aarons and they said they only do one rad for the XJ, but in the other thread it says that they had to wait until August to get the right one in as the wrong one had been sent, maybe it was a 2.5 or TD rad.
All we can say is that the part number is 5202 8537 for a 1998 4.0 XJ.

Okay dokey, that clears it up.
Except the typo on my rad.......
Anyhoo I'll try and get one next week....
Cheers all.

measure your rad and check it with the supplier before you get one sent out.
