Tonight - just starting to pull away from roundabout and....
Huge screaching when using clutch :-(
Had to drive about 20 miles back - sometimes it didn't do it for say 5 gear changes
-
thrust bearing.

yup
-
agreed!!!
ive just done the clutch in a friends 4ltr tj an to be honnest it wasnt a bad job to do, just abit time consuming!
-
Got to admit that's what I thought.
-
the thrust will colapse and then cut its way through the fingers on the presure plate if you dont change it soon
-
get it done before you damage something else
-
too late its happened
