Title: Central Locking
Post by: mike213735 on January 04, 2009, 05:56:49 PM
Hi all,

I've just picked up my 1995 Cherokee and noticed a fault...already.

The central locking doesn't work.

When I lock the door using the key, it just locks that door. If I press the lock button inside, nothing happens. I don't have the fob...something I am sure I will be looking for later :)

Could my central locking be as simple as a fuse, and if so, where should I look for it.

Thanks in advance,
Mike

The keys don't operate the central locking, and neither do the large rocker buttons by the door handles. Only switch by the electric window controls or the remote will do it.

I don't have the remote, but it should still work by the switch on the door by the windows? Which it doesn't...

Thanks
Mike
