I'm probably gonna have to rebuild my Tf A-999 myself due to a combination of tight-fistedness, improverishment, and sheer bloody mindedness.
I can remember right the transmission breather needs converting to a remote breather set up, but I can't find the details anywhere.
Anyone know where I'll find the info?

somone clever will put up link i hope but yeah behind the converter on the face of the pump deep in the bellhousing is the vent that can and will let water in if you go in propper deep stuff or get stuck in deepish water tap and thread him and fill him with a blanking plug then carfully drill a new vent on the top off the gearboxes back towards the bell housing end as its the highest point for the vent tap it then fit a union and a length off pipe to it
i dont think the exact point for the new vent is critical but i am sure the information will come to light shortly

Dodster is the man, I'm sure he will be along

I can't remember where I saw it, 'twas online somewhere.
I've had a look where Bubba said and found the vent hole so now the rest is easy.
What a effin stupid place to put the vent on an off road vehicle.

I think this should be of some help

Here's my favourite bitDrill your new hole slowly while holding a vacuum hose closely to catch the metal shavings.
