Title: trailer wiring

I have a US spec jeep

what do I need to buy/do to wire it up to pull a UK trailer?

You can get a wiring kit with socket and all you need including instructions from Halfords, or use this diagram............

If you have a US spec hitch, you also need to ditch your 2" tow ball for a 50mm one. I got mine from an agricultural supplies shop.
