chevy blazer 1999 LT Heated rear window not working. power through to window when switched on and continuity through window grid but no defrost . any ideas folks. thanks in advance, Stuart

heater elament/wire is broken in glass
-
But i have got continuity through the wire?
-
The heater is a grid. Let's say you have 10 'stripes' across the rear screen, if you have just one good one, you will get continuity.
-
Spot on there man. Just found the break. does anyone know if you can still get the repair stuff for heated windows. thanks again, Stuart
-
i think you can try a classic car web site or mag

Maplin do electrically conductive silver paint for £8. I've used it to repair broken heater elements in the past with good results. http://http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=36275
