Hi all I have a 2001 WJ with the stock 17" rims on, would there be any problem with me putting 16" on.
Thanks james

nope you shouldn't have a problem, but it will effect your speedo reading, what it will do is it will now read high so when you are doing 40mph you may only be doing 36, you can rectify that tho by changing the profile of the tyre, if you currently have a 50 series tyre then go up to a 60 for instance.
most standard off road tyres use 80 series unless otherwise stated on the sidewall

Cheers for that I was gonna get 16" & stick 245/75 on it, should that sort out the speedo.
-
take it your present wheel s are ***/65/17's or their abouts?
-
yeah 235/60/17 I think

245-70-16" are standard fit on my WJ
