Title: Couple of questions

1) Roof bars; are they compatible between pre and post facelift?

I'm considering using one as a light bar at the front.


2) Front recovery points; Can the front towing eye be turned to extend out of the valance and be used as a recovery point.
 
If not what, other than a new front bumber etc.

you can turn the hitch round but you have to cut the valance

I made myself a new one with a serious piece of angle iron som I didnt have to cut the valance

mine switched round without any triming
