ive just noticed i have no jack under my rear seat on my cherokee, can i buy a replacement or is there a suitable alternative out there, cheers hooch

Get a little hydraulic bottle jack. I've got a Draper one with about a 6 tonne capacity that cost less than £20 IIRC. Much better than the silly windy thing.
-
I'm sure I saw an 'original' one on ebay the other day, but as James says, you'd be better with a small decent bottle jack.
-
the windy std things are basic and better than some other o.e jacks. for the cost get a small 2t bottle jack
-
try a 4t trolley jack, youll need it ,haha
-
ps, and dont forget to check your power steering reservoir level, haha

Some 4x4`s like my Toyota come with a bottle jack as standard,as for the height thing i guess it depends where you jack and how big your lift is i guess
-
cheers Tank, gonna have to buy one and have a look, anything to get out of all that arm movement stuff a high lift makes you do
