Title: TJ front axel U joint replacement
Post by: Jeeper Creeper on March 08, 2009, 11:45:06 AM
Gonna replace the U joints.

I did a bit of reading and it says I have to replace the trunions and that I have a choice of different ones.

Which should I buy for light road use? Something that's not too expensive but not too crappy either.

Cheers

Tad

Did I write something wrong or have you all been smoking joints?

I'd recommend the spicer 5-760X UJs. They are the Spicer (Jeep OEM) replacements for the old 5-297X UJs. The trunnions are just part of the UJ.
