hi. ive got a really loud squeak comming from my front brakes when applied anybody know of a quick fix its getting to be embarrassing.

People say brake squeak can be cured by applying copper grease between the caliper pistons and brake pads. Never had this problem myself and can't confirm if it's true. But every time I have my brake pads off I grease them just in case.

I'm suffering the same thing with mu TJ!! and I think it's getting worse, just had the service and mentioned it but it's still there.
and yes!! It's getting embarassing! lol

had the same with my cherokee, remove pads both sides ,give a good spraying with brake cleaner around calipers @ discs , copper grease back of pads < not face that touches the discs> then reassemble. should stop the squeakin '
